History: At Friends & Family Enterprises, we are more than just a company - we truly are friends and family! In 2004, two friends, Bill Bustard and Mike Dolnick, developed the idea of an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet and began to work on business models and possible locations. In early 2005, they partnered with Ken Kovalik, who worked previously as a management and business consultant, to create Friends and Family Pizza Buffet, LLC, organized in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In October 2005, the partners opened their first restaurant in Bristol, PA. Based on the successes of this initial restaurant, and the overwhelming public support of the concept in this region, in March 2006 the founders created Friends & Family Enterprises, LLC (FFE) along with other financial partners, for the purpose of selling pizza buffet franchises. Then, in the Spring of 2007, FFE opened its second location in Mechanicsburg, PA outside of Harrisburg.

In a further expansion of the business, FFE decided to expand its franchise offering in the Fall of 2007 to include five separate, unique franchise opportunities. This lead to the development of Friends & Family Distributors, a professional supply and marketing organization focused on the fundraising industry. The Friends & Family Distributors line continues to grow and branch out into new markets while continuing to add new fundraising programs to its offering

Purpose: The purpose of Friends & Family Enterprises, LLC is to function as the franchisor in the offering of Friends & Family franchises. This offering provides franchisees with a chance to facilitate and manage their own unique franchise opportunity. The target market for setting up franchises is currently focused on the northeastern region of the country.

As a franchisor, we will provide training, expertise, and support to franchisees based on the experience we have obtained through our time in operation. We are now in the process of actively selling franchises throughout the Northeast. Please refer to the Franchise Info tab for more information.
